Shipping policy

Order Processing

All orders are freshly prepared and packed to order.

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 working days. During busy periods, such as holidays, product launches, or promotions, processing times may be slightly longer.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Please note: Orders placed after our daily cut-off time, on weekends, or on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.


Shipping

We currently ship throughout the United Kingdom.

Shipping times are estimated at 1–3 working days after dispatch, depending on the delivery service selected. Please note that delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.


Delivery

Please ensure your delivery address is correct before placing your order. We cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

Once your order has been handed to the courier, delivery is the responsibility of the courier. However, if you experience any issues, please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist.


Perishable Products

As our chocolate bars, cake bars, and dessert jars are perishable food products, we recommend bringing your parcel indoors as soon as possible after delivery.

We cannot accept responsibility for products that are left outside for extended periods after delivery or where delivery attempts are missed.


Damaged or Missing Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you believe items are missing, please contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery at orders@thecakebaruk.com.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the item(s) and packaging

We’ll investigate and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Delays

While we always aim to dispatch orders on time, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, severe weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
